Definitions

A “Site” is a logical grouping in Imput’s system, allowing other users to access and use Site associated charge points, with respect to the individual users rights within the Site.

A “Join-code” is synonymously used for an invitation to a Site, and it is available for all the Sites users to utilize.

“Website” refers to Imputs reference site, imput.dk.

“Portal” refers to Imputs portal, portal.imput.app, used for managing Sites, charge points and users.

“App” refers to Imputs mobile application, used as an interface for accessing Sites and charge points.

“Cookies” refers to a small text file stored on a user’s device by a website to remember information about the user and their preferences.

Types of Personal Data, Legal Justification, and Intended Use

Use if digital platforms

As you interact with our digital platforms (websites, user platforms and mobile applications), Imput will collect and process personal data, which include cookies, browser details, and visit duration.

These data are utilized to enhance user experience, enable website functionalities, and remember user preferences. The duration of storage for personal data collected through cookies on our Website, user portals, and/or mobile applications varies depending on the specific type and purpose of the cookie.

Use of services

When you create a profile through our App, you are required to provide personal information in order for us to provide you with our Electric Vehicle charging services in accordance with your preferences and requirements. The personal data processed includes your name, email address, telephone number, bank and payment information.

When utilizing our services, we will collect and process information pertaining to your Electric Vehicle charging process. This data includes location, date and time of charging. It is collected for the purpose of optimizing our charging services and improving user experience. In addition, when making purchases through our services, Imput will collect and process additional personal data, which include your name, contact details, address, and transaction details.

When you join a Site through the App or Portal, using a Join-code or by accepting an invitation, information about your account which includes name, email and phone will be accessible for other members of the site.

When using a charge point through the App, your account name, email, start and end time of the session and consumption doing the session, will be accessible by the administrators of the Site. This is necessary for managing users of a Site, to access the practical state of the Site, such as total Site revenue, but also allows managing users of the Site, to gain insights and provide valuable customer service to the user.

When you are in contact with our customer support, through the App, email or other digital and physical means, we will process your personal information that is relevant for our customer service to give the best possible customer support.  This information can include information provided in your inquiry, or other information from our other services relevant to assisting you with the inquiry. Inquiries sent to our customer support will be stored in our system for up to 2 years. This conversation will be used to train our future customer service employees, and for personal support in future inquiries.

We use Stripe as part of our payment processing system. Stripe is a third-party credit card payment processor. Your credit/debit card credentials are never exposed to Imputs system, as Stripe is the sole data storage and processor of said information. The payment processing system is necessary to provide charging services.

In this regard, our processing of your personal data is based on GDPR Article 6(1)(b) as it is essential for the fulfillment of contractual obligations, or for pre-contractual actions taken at your request as a customer. Imput ensures that all personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, and takes appropriate measures to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your information.

Cookie Policy

Imput uses cookies, and other information to personalize the experience of our website, and optional to make targeted ads. The cookies on our website can be found using the browsers help functions, and in the Cookies settings, on our website.

Data Storage

Imput will retain your personal data for the duration required to achieve the purpose of which it was collected and will be deleted thereafter, unless it is necessary to retain it for documentation purposes regarding legal activities.

Your data is stored in our secure servers protected by passwords, firewalls and encryptions to ensure confidentiality. Information relevant to authenticating your users account are stored by Google inc. (Firebase) (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy). Payment information is also encrypted and processed only by PCI certified organizations, and is handled by Stripe Inc. (https://stripe.com/en-gb-dk/privacy)

Insight and Complaints

You have the right to be informed about what personal data we process about you in a commonly used format (data portability). You can also object at any time to the use of your information. You can also withdraw your consent for us to process information about you. If the information being processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted. You can contact us about this at: info@imput.dk. If you want to complain about our processing of your personal information, you also have the option to contact the Danish Data Protection Agency. If you no longer want us to process your personal information, or if you want us to limit the processing of your personal information, you can also send us a request to the above email address.

Policy Modifications

When consenting to the privacy policy, you acknowledge changes may occur in the future. If Imput makes changes on how your personal data is being stored or processed, this policy will reflect the changes at all times. A change will trigger an email to be sent to you, notifying of said changes. We will always obtain your consent before allowing personal data to be acquired in any of our services.
